Steps To Host Radiant Node on Flux Marketplace!
The Radiant network is a peer-to-peer digital asset system that enables the direct exchange of value without going through a central party.
Yesterday, Flux announced “Radiant node has been added to the Flux marketplace”, which means now you can run Radiant’s full node on a Web3 cloud infrastructure.
Let’s see how you can deploy your own Radiant Node on Flux to support Radiant Network.
Steps To Deploy Radiant Node on Flux →
Setting up Radiant Node is very easy but you need Flux coins in your Zelcore wallet to proceed. You can watch my video to know the steps to set up a Zelcore wallet and Deposit Flux on it.
1. Open Home.RunonFlux.io in your browser.
2. Select the Home tab from the left menu. Here you can enter Zelcore wallet’s details manually but Flux Dashboard also supports automatic login.
2.1 Click on Fingerprint Sign to log in using ZelID and it will automatically open Zelcore Wallet.
2.2 You will see a pop message in your Zelcore Wallet. Click on the Sign and Send button to complete the sign-in request.
If Sign-in will be successful, you will see the Logout button at the top-right corner of your screen in Flux Dashboard.
3. Click on the Marketplace Drop-Down and select Marketplace. Here you can find Radiant Node inside the categories or you can use the search box or filter to find the Radiant Node.
3.1 As you can see in the above screenshot, Radiant Node is visible and the monthly price is 2.4 Flux. Click on the Radiant Node to continue.
3.2 On the next screen you will see something like the below screenshot. Don’t enter anything in the Parameters field and Click on the Start Launching Marketplace App button.
4. Click on Next to continue or copy the Registration Message if want to sign the message manually from your ZelID App.
4.1 Now click on Fingerprint Sign to continue using ZelID and it will automatically open Zelcore Wallet. And If you copied the Registration Message in the previous step, you need to paste the message manually.
4.2 You will see a pop message in your Zelcore Wallet. Click on the Sign and Send button to complete the request.
4.3 If the Sign request will be successful, you will see a code in the message field. Click Next to continue.
4.4 On the next screen, you will see the monthly cost of running a Radiant Node. You need to click on the Register Flux App button and after a few seconds, you will see Registration Hash Received message below the button.
After that, Click Next to continue.
4.4 Now you need to complete the payment to start running Radiant Node. You can send the payment manually with the message mentioned on your screen or click on Fingerprint Sign to log in using ZelID and it will automatically open Zelcore Wallet.
4.5 You will see a payment request in your Zelcore Wallet. Click on the Proceed To Pay button and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment request.
4.6 Open the Home Page of your Zelcore Wallet → Click on Flux Coin → Click on Details → Check Transaction History and Wait for the transaction confirmation.
4.7 Once the transaction is confirmed, Go back to the Flux Dashboard and click on the Finish button.
4.8 After that, you will get a pop-up about transaction confirmation. We have already verified the transaction status from the transaction history so click Yes.
Done, you have successfully completed the steps to run a Radiant Node.
Now you have to wait for a few minutes for your Radiant Node to be spawned on an available node. After waiting for a few minutes, click on Apps Drop-Down and select Global Apps.
You will see your Radiant Node inside the My Apps. You can click on the down arrow to see all the running IPs and specifications.
Steps To Renew Payment →
Your Radiant Node is only subscribed for 22,000 Flux blocks which are around 44,000 minutes or one month and currently, Flux doesn’t support automatic payment. This means you will have to renew the monthly payment manually to continue running the node otherwise your node will be closed.
To renew the payment, click on Apps Drop-Down → Global Apps → My Apps → Click on the Manage beside the node you want to renew payment for → Click Manage App.
On the next screen, Select Update Specifications → Scroll down and click on Compute Update Message → Click on Fingerprint Sign and follow the on-screen instruction to renew the payment.
